- זְמַם III, Ithpa. אִתְזְמֵים (cmp. דמם) to be confounded. Targ. Is. 29:9 אִתְזְמִימוּ (ed. Wil. אִדְזַמִימוּ fr. דמם; absent in ed. Lag.; h. text השתעשעו, rendered by אשתגישו a. our w., of which one is a gloss). (For אדז׳ cmp. הִדַּקִּי s. v. דְּקַק.
